Species: Milotic, the Tender Pokemon
Type: Water

Bio: The Feebas that Wallace found as a child grew into this Milotic, who is the cornerstone of both Wallace’s champion and contest teams. Because he grew from something that was considered ugly and unwanted, Edward is just as humble as his master. He is very protective of Wallace, making him seem more like the older brother than the Pokemon in the relationship. Edward is also very protective and nurturing of the other Pokemon on the team, though he is known to keep them in line due to intimidation, and it is said that if King Edward doesn’t like a particular Pokemon, they don’t last long as a member of Wallace’s team…
Nickname: Maximilian
Species: Tentacruel, the Jellyfish Pokemon
Type: Water/Poison
Gender: ♂
Bio: Despite the ‘cruel’ in his species name, Maximilian is a sweetheart, who will do almost anything for Wallace’s attention and love. In a battle, though, his sweet nature is completely abandoned, and he becomes one of the more ruthless members of Wallace’s team, even going so far as to snicker at opponents who are ill with his poison. In this way, he reflects Wallace’s nature as a being who can be either humble and affectionate or cruel and cunning, depending on the situation. Maximilian was given to Wallace as an egg by an admiring fan.
Nickname: Phillipe
Species: Whiscash, the Whiskers Pokemon
Type: Water/Ground
Gender: ♂
Bio: Philipe is not the brightest of little fishies, but he is very important to Wallace, nevertheless. Also being a member of both the contest and champion team, Philipe demonstrates versatility through and through, thanks to his dual type in Ground. Wallace refers to him as one of his trump cards. Philipe was acquired by Wallace during his travels with Steven and Cynthia. He traded a recently caught Tailow to another trainer for Philipe.
Nickname: Adrian
Species: Gyarados, the Atrocious Pokemon
Type: Water/Flying
Gender: ♂
Bio: Adrian represents the brute force and intimidation of Wallace’s team. No one really expects the champion to pull out a monster like this, so he is highly effective for psych outs, while being the physically strongest and most vicious member of the champion team. Like most Pokemon of his species, he needs anger management. However, he is mostly kept in line by Edward. Wallace caught him as a Magikarp and raised him specifically for his league challenge.
Nickname: Carlito
Species: Ludicolo, the Carefree Pokemon
Type: Water/Grass
Gender: ♂
Bio: During his travels, Wallace one day came across a sick little Lotad. His intention was to take the Pokemon to a center and leave it. However, by the time young Wallace arrived, carrying the Pokemon in his arms, he was in love. Carlito has never forgotten how much Wallace used to hold him and give him love, so he tries to spread that love to the world, offering hugs just for the sake of it.
Nickname: Henry “The Eighth”
Species: Wailord, the Float Whale Pokemon
Type: Water
Gender: ♂
Bio: One of Wallace’s Pokemon since childhood. Wallace caught him as a Wailmer a bit before leaving for his Pokemon journey. He’s a little melancholy sometimes because he misses being small enough to go just about everywhere with Wallace. Still, he knows that his master loves him and in return, Henry gives his all in everything that Wallace asks of him.

Nickname: “Queen” Elizabeth
Species: Luvdisc, the Rendezvous Pokemon
Type: Water
Gender: ♀
Bio: Elizabeth is actually just one of a school of Luvdisc that Wallace keeps in a rather large aquarium built into the walls of his home in Sootopolis City, but of his collection, she is by far his favorite, being the first Luvdisc he acquired as a gift from his master. She is very playful and affectionate, always giving Wallace little kisses. Elizabeth can be a bit of an attention whore, but when you’re a Pokemon whose species travels in schools, you have to do what you can to stand out.
Nickname: “Prince” Charles
Species: Seaking, the Goldfish Pokemon
Type: Water
Gender: ♂
Bio: Charles is also one of many aquatic creatures to inhabit Wallace’s home aquarium, though he is the only Seaking among a harem of Goldeens. He has a very gentlemanly personality. Even the way that he swims makes him look like a perfect prince, hence the reason Wallace sometimes calls him Prince Charles. During his journey, Wallace had specifically wanted a Goldeen to add to his contest team. He fished Charles out on his own.
Nickname: Francois
Species: Sealeo, the Ball Roll Pokemon
Type: Ice/Water
Gender: ♂
Bio: Francois was another gift from Wallace’s master, and has been raised from a Spheal. Francois is a cuddle slut and a very playful Pokemon who lives for performing and being cute. He shares his master’s love of being well groomed. If Wallace hasn’t brushed him in a while, Francois gets the brush and brings it to his master, being very insistent on looking pretty.
